Woke Disney now is Suffering a Serious Loss

Far-left corporation Disney initiated hostilities against the state of Florida. After years of working together successfully with Florida, the corporation ultimately decided to take legal action against the state because it had enacted legislation protecting children from being groomed.

In a severe rebuke, Florida Governor DeSantis removed a special privilege that Disney had been granted. But the firm showed that it had very little respect for the law and the government when it pressured the officials in charge of the Reedy Creek Improvement District to sign over their authority to Disney.

By virtually transforming Disney into a government, these blatantly corrupt individuals sidestepped the decision made by DeSantis. However, in its haste to break the law, Disney made a stupid mistake. Disney was successful in having the board members of the Reedy Creek Improvement District adopt a resolution at the last minute that granted Disney maximum authority over the land on which Disney World is built.

Give a corporation, which is not bound by democratic norms or the results of elections, complete authority over a region of a state. It is abundantly clear that these so-called supervisors were either coerced or bribed into doing this. Disney was able to convince them to hand over the power in order to circumvent a recently enacted law in Florida that would have revoked its control over the land.

However, if the allegations are to be believed, Disney overlooked an element of the process, rendering the move null and void. In accordance with the laws of the state, Disney was required to have two public hearings prior to implementing the modification.

In addition, it was required to send a letter of notification to each affected property owner before the initial public hearing. However, Disney did not tell the owners of the property, which means that the entire operation is illegal. Because of this, Disney is unable to assert that it has full control of the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

And the action that DeSantis made to strip them of power is still in effect. Disney will do this once more, but it is possible that it will be too late because the law will be implemented very soon. They appear to be startlingly anti-democratic for being managed by Democrats, which is surprising.

Disney attempted to exert pressure on a state in order to coerce the state into repealing a law that had been legitimately passed by elected representatives. They are already attempting to undercut the statute that is already in place so that they can manage the district without any accountability from the government. If they are successful, Disney will effectively become a government within the United States that is not accountable to voters.
