Many Jewish celebrities have been among the many Americans who have voiced their opposition to this. Famous comedian and former cast member of Saturday Night Live, Jon Lovitz, attacked so-called Democratic socialists in Congress who support Israel. And he branded them with a censure of two words.
Renowned TV and movie director Jon Lovitz criticized congressional Democrats for their hostility toward Israel. Senator Bernie Sanders, a Democratic socialist who is Jewish, was singled out by him. Sanders came under fire from Lovitz for his recent attempts to impose restrictions on US aid to Israel. Lovitz continued his criticism of the squad, a group of radical Democrats in the House. He denounced them as horribly anti-Semitic for their attempts to halt funding for Israel.

This team has been heavily criticized for the anti-Israel positions held by a few of its members. Representatives Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Cori Bush have been vocal in their criticism of Israel for a long time, even before the events on October 7 and the war that followed.
Similar thoughts have also been stated in the past by their fellow member, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but she may not have been as vocal considering the sizeable Jewish community in her home state of New York. Despite their denials, these anti-Israel Democrats have frequently been charged with anti-Semitism.

Many centrist Democrats have voiced their opposition to progressives who appear to be in favor of Hamas. Marches, demonstrations, and rallies accusing Israel of oppressing the Palestinian people have received support from a large number of lefties, especially college students. They frequently yell anti-Semitic phrases and demand the fall of the Jewish state.
The division among liberals could potentially worsen. It seems probable that Israel would carry on its efforts to eradicate Hamas even in the wake of the announcement of a brief ceasefire in the conflict. Progressives may even now oppose it.
