President Biden’s High-Ranking Official Faces Serious Charges

Why does it appear that Democrats are held to a different standard than Republicans at all times? If a Republican is suspected of breaking the law, every rule in the book will be utilized as evidence against them. However, on numerous occasions, we have witnessed officials of the Biden administration flagrantly disobeying the law, and still nothing has been done about it.

Peter Buttigieg has ignored his responsibilities on multiple occasions. John Kerry routinely violates the environmental policies he has enacted by traveling in a private jet. And now, yet another official with the Biden campaign has defiantly disobeyed a regulation whose purpose is to keep politics out of public offices.

And he doesn’t even appear to be the least bit concerned about it. The previous year saw a violation of the Hatch Act on the part of Biden’s director of the HHS. During the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Gala event, he expressed his support for Democratic candidate Alex Padilla’s bid for re-election to the Senate from California.

It is against the law for Becerra to vote for him, yet he has stated that he will do so. The Hatch Act makes it illegal for government officials to participate in political campaigns or activities. Apologies for the news, Xavier, but engaging in political activities might include simply stating which candidate you want to vote for.

As the head of the Health and Human Services Department, the action was unequivocally an endorsement of a political figure. Do you wish to know what he said in reply? He asserts that he did not realize that he was infringing the legislation in any way.

He described the comments as having been made off the cuff, and it would appear that he shouldn’t be punished for them. I don’t think so. Do you mean to tell me that the director of a major United States government agency was ignorant of how the Hatch Act operated? If you are a Democrat, I guess you can say whatever you want and still get away with it by claiming ignorance.

Even though Hillary Clinton breached a wide variety of crimes, the FBI chose not to prosecute her because they believed she was unaware that what she was doing was criminal. Shouldn’t the law be administered in the same manner to each and every person? As any traffic cop will tell you, ignorance of the law is not a valid defense.

However, the left somehow manages to avoid the consequences of their own illegal behavior over and again. If this person had been working for the Republicans, he would no longer have a job by this point. Perhaps even inquiries were made. However, we have not heard a word about Becerra from Biden, as both he and the left anticipate that this will eventually become irrelevant.
