According to recent claims made by the former president, Donald Trump, he thought about designating his daughter Ivanka Trump as the UN Secretary. He disclosed this information while attending an event in Washington with Moms for Liberty, a conservative organization.

Tiffany Justice, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, questioned Trump about his decision to involve his children in both business and politics and whether he had any advice for others thinking about working with their own children.

In response, Trump shared that he has always enjoyed involving his children in his ventures, though he’s uncertain if he will continue doing so in the political arena, as he feels it has been unfair to them. He specifically praised Ivanka, describing her as a brilliant student, a wonderful person, and someone who worked hard and excelled in everything she did.

Trump went on to mention that Ivanka had a successful fashion business before joining the White House, where she and her husband, Jared Kushner, served as advisors in his administration. He noted that Ivanka chose to step away from her fashion career to focus on her role in the White House.

Trump further revealed that he had wanted Ivanka to become the U.N. Secretary, believing she would have been an excellent ambassador, with no real competition for the role. However, Ivanka was not interested in the position and decided to move on to other pursuits.

Ivanka has made it clear that if her father is re-elected, she will not return to government service. She has been distancing herself from politics and focusing on new endeavors, such as learning to pilot a helicopter. In July 2023, Ivanka shared a video on Instagram of herself flying over a body of water in a helicopter, with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ song “Learnin’ to Fly” playing in the background.

Reports indicate that she was flying off the coast of Florida, where she lives with her husband, Jared Kushner. The UK’s Express noted that she was dressed in a Majolica-floral dress by Dolce & Gabbana during the flight.

In another Instagram post, Ivanka is seen surfing in a one-piece swimsuit, captioning the photo with, “Soaking up the summer solstice.” According to a recent article by People, Ivanka is choosing to lead a more private life.

An unnamed source told People that Ivanka is focusing on spending quality time with her husband and children, which she finds most fulfilling. The source added that she believes there is no better way to honor her late mother than by being a devoted mother herself.

The source mentioned that although it has been just over a year since Ivana’s death, her legacy as a remarkable mother and grandmother continues to deeply influence their lives.

After her father faced criminal charges brought by a Manhattan grand jury last year, Ivanka made a brief statement on Instagram Stories, expressing her pain for both the nation and her father, as reported by Business Insider.
